What is 350 Placer?
350 is the parts per million (ppm) of carbon dioxide (CO2) thought to be safe and sustainable for life on our planet. As of July 2019, our CO2 level consistently measures above 410 ppm.
350 Placer is a local chapter of the international 350.org. We are dedicated to promoting sustainable living in Placer County by lowering our carbon levels.
We combine the realities of our climate emergency with the reality that it is not too late to fix things. We can fix this if we act together...now!
