January 6, 2020: Free Climate Movie Night - "How to Let Go of the World and Love All The Things
The urgent need to reverse climate change will be best achieved by showing up for things - actions yes, but also educational and community events. This is one of them and we hope to see you there!
Our friends at the Citizen's Climate Lobby will be showing a new film from academy award nominee John Fox (Gaslight) on Monday, Jan. 6 in Auburn. It will start promptly at 6:30 pm. In this film, "How to Let go of the World: And Love All that Things Climate Can't Change," the Emmy-winning director travels around the world to investigate climate change. He finds that the best hope is in community and connection with others who are working to create change. The film is part of the Citizen's Climate Lobby Climate Movie Night series, supported in part by 350 Placer. It will play at Overmiller Hall on the campus of First Congregational Church located at 710 Auburn Ravine Road. The movie is offered free to the public.
